National Apprenticeship Week 2023 – ‘Skills for Life’
National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) has begun and is the 16th year for this week-long celebration and is set to be the biggest one yet!
This annual celebration recognises the accomplishments of apprentices across the country and gives businesses the opportunity to showcase the amazing stories of their apprentices and inspire others to follow.
Here at EA-RS Fire Engineering, we’re extremely passionate about building future careers, and offer numerous training programs. In the last three years, even during a time of uncertainty during the Covid Pandemic, we recruited six trainee positions.
We’re proud of the careers we have helped develop over the years and we are keen to continue bringing enthusiastic and talented individuals into our business.
Skills for Life:
Each year, National Apprenticeship Week has a specific theme, and for NAW 2023 it is ‘Skills for Life.’
This theme represents the lifelong skills and knowledge that apprenticeship and training programs help individuals develop, to build a successful career.
EA-RS Fire Engineering believe apprenticeship and training programs are a great alternative to other education options such as university. They help you earn whilst you learn and build skillsets from real-world experiences.
Hear from our Apprentices:
‘I started as a Trainee Commissioning Engineer for Fire Engineering in August 2022. Since then, I’ve progressed extremely well through my training courses and excelled at working on the systems we use. I have found EA-RS Fire Engineering very supportive in helping me enhance my skill set and to perform my duties to the best of my ability. I look forward to continuing my development and career at EA-RS Fire Engineering.’
Laura Knight (Trainee Commissioning Engineer)
